Welcome! I’m Morgan Mayfield.
My focus is narrative storytelling, literary analysis, and editorial writing. I work across fiction, personal essays, commentary, and content, and am strongly interested in how stories are shaped, refined, and presented to audiences.
My studies in Creative Writing and English strengthened my ability to analyze, develop clear and engaging narratives, and look at writing with creativity and precision. I’m drawn to genre fiction, especially psychological horror and thrillers, as well as to contemporary literature, where I can explore the structure, pacing, and thematic depth from a writer’s and editor’s perspective.
My style is detail-oriented and narrative-driven, and I focus on clarity, flow, and tone, whether I’m writing original work or refining existing content. I value engaging and purposeful writing and emphasize audience awareness and readability. I’m interested in opportunities in publishing and editorial spaces where I can contribute to shaping compelling content, support other writers, and develop my skills in literary analysis, editing, and storytelling.
